Good Lord Have Mercy On My Soul!!!

Mr. Lamb will be spectacular in the league.  I guess we can say Derek Fisher (NBA Players President) & company have the young college players futures at heart regarding the prolonged negotiations and lockout.
And for what its worth, Bill Raftery and Gus Johnson are the best SPORTS announcers out there.  They just both so happened to focus on bball, but their verbal presence is monumental.

Please hurry back NBA!!

This guy was the anchor to my fantasy team last year.  I picked him in the second round, and everyone said I picked him waayyyy too early.  $1000 later and it turned out to be an epic pick.

Twitter Ramifications

Twitter is my bible.  Actually, its my encyclopedia/main news source.  I follow over 300 people on Twitter and have selected a handful of users to have their tweets forwarded to my text inbox on my phone.  I have dominated the masterful art of immediacy.  I get up-to-the-minute updates and links from the main NBA beat reporters who have been staking out at all of the meetings and negotiations the last couple months.  If anyone is interested in being informed and updated about the NBA lockout, follow these guys:

Day 132 of the NBA Lockout

I should be watching my beloved Bucks AS WE SPEAK.  But because millionaire's want to negotiate and bicker about 2% of BRI (Basketball related revenue) I am stuck bitching about it.  Oh and let's not forget that I am a DIE-HARD and LOYAL Bucks fan, but I would like to focus on how this lockout is seriously effecting my life.

The NBA players and Owners are meeting right now in New York.  This is their 22nd meeting of the 132 day of the lockout totaling 140+ hours!  I have endured this pandemonium since July 1, 2011.

So I have the last internship of my college career with the Milwaukee Bucks this semester.  I would be working with Dan Smyszek in the P.R. department, or with Pat Bowdish, Tricia Rasberry and Steve Tarachow in the group sales and marketing department.  The lockout is effecting my graduation as well.  I was planning on using my internship to gain credits towards my graduation.  So it looks like I will be graduating a little later than I thought.  Thanks David Stern you schmuck !

Another part of my life that is ruined because of this debauchery is that I am missing out on one of my most favorite things to do in life, which is Fantasy NBA Basketball.  I have played for the last 6 years and have won twice.  I WON $1000 EACH TIME I WON!    Eghghgh.  So mad at life these days.

My guy Chris Sheridan is an NBA beat reporter who breaks down the latest on his website.  I will talk further about how detrimental Twitter is in relation to the lockout in future posts.  Check out his up-to-the-minute website HERE.  I know you (most of people in Wisconsin) don't give 2 shits about the NBA.  Your constant, naive banter of "I don't like the NBA, just college basketball," or "They don't play defense," is a sad, untrue assessment.  There are other, underlying reasons people hate on the NBA which I will delve into as well.  But for you true NBA heads, keep those fingers crossed.
